NB: This data is not complete as only 80% of incident reports indicate whether patients were tourist or local and only 60% of incident reports include patient age or gender.
For comparison here is a graph of South African tourist origins for 2015.
Diligent researchers might note that selecting only Soloing as a contributory cause results in a hit in the infant to toddler range. This was the rescue of a mother with a 2 year old soloing Right Face in 1982.

Start date: End date: The earliest incident on record is 1653, however most of the data commences in the late 1800s.
